Congratulations to our graduates

The Graduation Ceremony took place today at the Bristol cathedral. A lovely venue to celebrate our Ba Hons Animation and Ba Hons Animation pathway graduates achievements. We wish them all the best for the future. We are very proud of you all.

Bristol School of Animation Graduate Stories

At the Bristol School of Animation we like to know where and how our graduates are employed, recently Vibeke Cleaverley an MA Animation graduate dropped a line to tell us what she has been up to…..

 ‘I finished my studies at UWE in 2008 and have since worked on great projects both in England and Norway. First as an assistant animator on Shaun the Sheep series 2 at Aardman, then on two incredibly successful VFX features in Norway called Knerten i Knipe and Knerten Gifter seg. In my work I focus heavily on character animation and communicating feeling and intent. I am currently working on a CG TV series called Blekkulf.’ See Vib’s work here

Level Two Stop Motion Puppets

Bristol School of Animation students win Stuttgart Crazy Horse Session

Final year BA Hons Animation students Constantinos Mavromichalis and Dane Winn entered the Crazy Horse Session, a competition at the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film. They competed with other teams of animators to create a short film between 30 seconds and 2 minutes using the festival mascot in just 48 hours.  Team ‘Bristol School of Animation’ won.  Well done guys. See their winning film  below..

Imagine magazine: UWE Animation Rising Stars

A group of Bristol School of Animation students studying on the BA Hons Animation programme were featured in IMAGINE Magazine for the Spring issue, the article was titled “Rising Star” and talks about the team and their film.
